Important things to remember when preparing for your trip.
- Return your completed, signed Participation Agreement(s) to your group leader ASAP.
- A fun, safe trip requires everyone to participate, and work as a team. Paddling requires physical effort and is sometimes strenuous. To participate, you should be in good health. If you have any injuries or physical conditions that may affect your ability to paddle, please let us know in advance.
- Footwear is important. River shoes or sandals with an ankle strap are best. Canvas tennis shoes that lace up (such as Converse) are also good. DO NOT wear flip flops or other shoes that slip on (they can also slip off), leather shoes, or any shoe without a sturdy, slip-proof sole.
- Do not bring valuables. The river seems to have a voracious appetite for jewelry, nice cameras and watches, cell phones, etc. If you cant leave them at home, we will be happy to hold them in the Rafting Center until the end of your trip.
- We may require wetsuits early in the season. You can check with your group leader, or call our office at 800-323-4234. You may bring your own (ideally one that completely covers your legs), or you can rent one from us. Cost is $10 for-day trips, $15 for 2-day trips.
- If you have any questions or concerns, call our reservations office at 1-800-323-4234.
