OFFERED THROUGH KERN RIVER OUTFITTERS

A comprehensive whitewater school for river guide hopefuls and whitewater rafting enthusiasts will be offered by Kern River Outfitters on two consecutive three-day weekends April 18-20 and April 25-27 on the Kern River, recently named a “must-see” destination by the California Travel and Tourism Commission and featured in the current best selling book, “1,000 Places to See Before You Die.” Guide candidates and private boaters alike are welcome to participate in the whitewater school.

Specialty Themes Add Spice to Rafting Trips
Kern River Outfitters, one of Southern California’s premier white water outfitters, will offer several two-day theme trips on the Lower Kern this season, including a Haute Cowboy Cooking trip on June 25-26, a Pub & Grub trip featuring micro brews from Kern River Brewery on July 10-11, and a Yoga on the Kern Retreat with Master Yoga Instructor Nancy Ivy on July 15-16.

Travel & Tourism Commission
The California Travel and Tourism Commission has named the Kern River a “must see” California destination in their just released vacationers guide. In a description posted at http://www.visitcalifornia.com, the guide suggests “Book a trip with Kern River Outfitters”.
