We’re looking to hire additional guides for the 2017 rafting season. With a larger schedule of available trips, we anticipate being busier than usual.

Position: River Guide

If you are looking to become a guide, then please send us an email with your resume and a short paragraph on why you think you would make a great guide. Once interviewed, we will have you attend our Whitewater School.

Position: Safety Cat Boater

Provide an additional layer of safety on our trips by tagging along some of our commercial trips in our 14 foot safety cat raft.

Applicant must be an expert oarsman. Current SWR preferred, but not required. Minimum five year guide experience. This is the perfect job for those guides that have moved on from guiding but would still like to be involved as needed.

Position: Wilderness Photographer

Shoot photos of our Forks of the Kern wilderness, Class-V rafting trips.

These are remote and wild rafting trips. Outings are two to three days length. Your job is to capture the rapids, camp life, and anything else that makes the trip special. You should have your own gear for this position, be comfortable in whitewater, and be digitally organized.
