We specialize in private and custom rafting trips, and close to half of the trips we run are chartered for groups.

Trips can be as simple as reserving a private launch on one of our standard Kern River itineraries—or more customized adventures designed specifically for your group.

Custom Transportation from Los Angeles

The Kern River is just three hours from Los Angeles and for private charters we can help coordinate transportation from Los Angeles and other Southern California locations.

  • Hotel or airport pickup (LAX, Burbank, etc.)
  • Round-trip transportation from Los Angeles

Kern River Safari Private Trips

Our Kern River Rafting Safari is especially well suited to private groups.

These trips combine exciting Class IV whitewater with a comfortable safari-style riverside camp—a unique mix of rafting and glamping that has been featured in national travel media.

We also have a custom 3-day version that is very popular as a charter.

Easy to Plan

Part of the reason we run so many trips like this is that we make it easy to plan and put a group together.  Depending on the date we offer trips with groups as small as 2 people to larger than 24. .

For a private launch or trip Buyout on many dates, the price is set to the 12 person price for a group of 2 to 12 people. So you only need a group of 12 people to have everyone pay the trips normal group discount price, or you can go down to as few as 2 people at the set price.

We also have a handy group organizer tool that makes it easy for group organizers to invite people and leaves all the payment collecting to us
