We have pushed our opening date forward to April 1, and considering we already have terrific flows on the Upper, we expect similar to greater flows come that Saturday.
Why April for rafting?
Less people: Far less crowds to deal with. In town, on the water, and on our trips, the big crowds you may find on busier weekends simply won’t be there.
We have availability: We just opened up these dates, so they are wide open for reservations. Many of our later Saturday and Sunday dates are already sold out, but since these have just become available, they are ready to book.
Premium water flows: The water is here and it is good. When the flows are up more river is available to raft, which means we will see the best sections of whitewater the Upper Kern has to offer.
