Let the melt begin! The Upper Kern is on its way up and is currently flowing at 1,460 Cubic Feet per Second. Right now we’re offering Kernville Rapid Run, Half Day, and Full Day Upper Kern river trips launching daily. We still expect our Upper Kern season to run until mid-June, and around that point we’ll switch operations to the Lower Kern which features our most popular trip, the Two Day Lower Kern.

What does a Full Day Upper Kern rafting trip entail? At the moment, the Full Day trip is running through the Lickety and Limestone rapids, and soon we’ll be running through Cables. This trip encompasses everything you’d want in a rafting journey: enough class III rapids for floating along and truly enjoying the breathtaking canyons, tall mountains, and all of the nature vistas around you – as well as multiple class IV rapids for an exhilarating ride.
